Insurance & Cost
We work with every insurance company — State Farm, Allstate, GEICO, Progressive, USAA, Farmers, all of them. We handle billing directly with your provider so you don't have to chase paperwork or sit on hold. Here's how it works: file your glass claim, choose Generations Auto Glass as your shop, and we take it from there. All you pay is your deductible. If you need help filing, our office team can walk you through it or even get on the phone with your insurance company alongside you.
You can choose your own shop. Arkansas law gives you the right to select the auto glass provider of your choice, regardless of who your insurance company suggests. When you file your claim, simply request Generations Auto Glass. Your insurer cannot require you to use a specific shop. If you're being told otherwise, call us — we deal with this regularly and can help you navigate it.
It depends on your vehicle, the type of glass being replaced, and whether your vehicle requires ADAS recalibration. We provide free, no-obligation quotes — just call or fill out the form on our website with your VIN and we'll give you a price. The price we quote is the price you pay. If additional work is needed that we didn't anticipate, we'll let you know before starting. No hidden fees.
We honor quotes for 14 days from the date they're given. The auto glass market fluctuates weekly — prices rise and drop without warning — so any quote not scheduled within 14 days will need to be re-quoted to ensure accurate pricing.
Cash, checks, and all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover). For insurance claims, we bill your provider directly — you pay only your deductible at time of service.
Services & Process
Most windshield replacements take one to two hours. After installation there's a safe drive-away time while the adhesive cures — we'll let you know exactly how long before you drive. Most jobs are scheduled and completed within one business day of your first call.
Yes. For many vehicles, we can do the work at your home, your office, or wherever is most convenient. Our mobile service covers Little Rock, North Little Rock, Maumelle, Sherwood, Alexander, Bryant, Benton, Conway, and Jacksonville.

Some vehicles — particularly those requiring static ADAS recalibration — need to be serviced at our shop where we have the equipment and space to calibrate the camera system properly. We'll let you know during scheduling whether mobile or in-shop service is right for your vehicle.
Yes. We have three locations:

North Little Rock (Main): 15 Collins Industrial Pl Suite C — Mon–Fri 8:00–5:00
Bryant: 2005 N. Reynolds Rd — Mon–Fri 8:00–5:00
Conway: 1330 Nabholz Ave Suite 1 — By appointment only
All of them. Windshields, door glass, back glass, sunroofs, vent glass, quarter glass, and window regulators. If it's glass on your vehicle, we replace it.
Your VIN and a description of which glass is damaged. The VIN is typically on the lower driver's side of the windshield and on the driver's door or door frame. The VIN ensures we order the exact correct glass for your specific vehicle. Don't have your VIN? Call anyway — we'll help you find it.
Most jobs are completed next business day. Call us in the morning and you're often driving with new glass by the next afternoon.
OEM vs. Aftermarket Glass
OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) glass is made by or for the vehicle manufacturer — the same glass that came on your vehicle from the factory.

Aftermarket glass is made by third-party manufacturers. It meets the same federal safety and clarity standards as OEM, fits your vehicle properly, and for the vast majority of cars and trucks, it's a perfectly good choice at a significantly lower price.

For higher-end and European vehicles — Porsche, Mercedes, Land Rover, BMW, and similar — we generally recommend OEM glass because the fit and finish tends to be better for these brands.
Yes, but how it's handled depends on whether you're paying out of pocket or going through insurance.

Out of pocket: You can absolutely request OEM — keep in mind it's typically much more expensive than aftermarket.

Through insurance: You must request OEM when you file your claim. Your insurance company decides what glass they'll cover. There are typically three outcomes:
  1. OEM is approved at no additional cost (common with newer high-end vehicles or policies with an OEM endorsement).
  2. OEM is approved, but insurance only covers the aftermarket price — you pay the difference. This is the most common outcome.
  3. OEM is denied and can only be installed at full out-of-pocket cost (common with older vehicles or basic policies).
We don't control what your insurance approves. We'll help you understand your options.
ADAS Recalibration
ADAS stands for Advanced Driver Assistance System — the umbrella term for safety features like lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and traffic sign recognition. Almost all vehicles made in the last several years have at least some of these features. These systems work through a camera mounted to your windshield. If you're not sure whether your vehicle has ADAS, give us your VIN and we'll tell you.
If your vehicle has a windshield-mounted camera for any ADAS feature, yes — recalibration is required every time the windshield is replaced. The camera's position shifts when the glass is removed and replaced, even if only slightly. Without recalibration, your safety systems may not work accurately.

Our policy: We will not replace a windshield on an ADAS-equipped vehicle without also calibrating the camera. The risk of leaving safety systems out of alignment is too great.
Yes. We're happy to perform a standalone recalibration after another shop's installation. However, the success of any calibration depends in part on the quality of the glass installation. If the windshield wasn't installed correctly, it can affect the camera's alignment. We'll let you know if we see any issues.
We use Autel calibration systems — one of the industry's leading brands for automotive diagnostic and ADAS calibration equipment. Our technicians have been trained directly by Autel. We also offer pre- and post-calibration diagnostic scans upon request, showing any trouble codes stored in your vehicle's computer.
Yes, we do both. Static calibration is performed in our shop using specialized targets positioned at precise distances in front of your vehicle. Dynamic calibration is performed by driving the vehicle while connected to diagnostic equipment. Different vehicles require different methods — some need one type, some need both. We determine what your vehicle requires and handle it accordingly.
Warranty
Every auto glass replacement is backed by our warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for as long as you own or lease the vehicle. This covers water leaks or air noise caused by our installation, as well as replacement of any defective aftermarket glass we supply — at no cost to you. This warranty is valid for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
We warrant that our completed windshield repairs will not fail for as long as you own or lease your vehicle. If a repair fails — meaning the repaired crack grows or the repair separates — we'll refund the full cost of the repair.

The repair warranty covers the cost of the repair itself. It does not cover the cost of a full windshield replacement if a repaired chip later cracks from new impact or external factors. In the rare event that a chip spreads during the repair process, there is no charge for any labor.
Call us at 501-708-1420 during business hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00–5:00). We'll inspect the issue and, if it's covered under our warranty, correct the problem at no charge.
Windshield Repair
The general rule: if the damage is a "star" or "bullseye" chip about the size of a quarter or smaller, and it's not in the driver's direct line of sight, it can usually be repaired. If the crack has spread beyond that, there are multiple chips close together, or the damage extends to the edge of the windshield, replacement is the safer option.

Not sure? Call us — we'll ask a few quick questions and give you an honest recommendation.
Most repairs are completed in under an hour. No windshield removal. No adhesive cure time. You drive away the same day.
Repaired chips typically clear up about 80% or more. The result is significantly less noticeable than the original damage, but in most cases the repair will still be slightly visible — especially from certain angles. A repair stops the damage from spreading and restores structural integrity. It's a major improvement, but it's not invisible.
About Generations Auto Glass
Yes. Generations Auto Glass is a family-owned and operated business serving Central Arkansas. The name comes from the family structure — owner Michael Seewald works alongside his two sons, his son-in-law, and his brother. The vision is to grow the company and pass it to the next generation while maintaining the same standard of service.
We acquired Danny's Auto Glass and are rebranding it as Generations Auto Glass. The Bryant location at 2005 N. Reynolds Rd is fully operational under our ownership, with the same commitment to quality and service that Generations customers expect. If you were a Danny's customer, we're glad to have you and look forward to continuing to serve you.
